The anniversary of the infamous rumor that Taylor Swift was hiding in a suitcase has arrived. This was just after Kim Kardashian West made negative comments about her on Snapchat, but before she gained her “big reputation.” At the time, the idea of Swift traveling in a box like in Ocean’s Eleven seemed feasible and even desirable to fans. Despite her return to her Tribeca residence and frequent visits to The Smile, Swift has been seen leaving her apartment on foot, putting on a show for the paparazzi. Let’s take a closer look at her recent public appearances.
Swift was spotted leaving her apartment on Sunday, sporting knee-high Jimmy Choo boots that seemed out of place in the summer heat of New York City. The singer paired the boots with a floral Faith Connexion Wrap Shirtdress, accessorized with Elie Saab sunglasses and a Stella McCartney bag. The ensemble gave off the impression that Swift was ready to put on a show.
Swift was seen sporting a Baby Romper on Tuesday, which she has previously worn in the past. However, this time, she gave the outfit a unique twist by having it custom-made by designer Fausto Puglisi and styled by her personal stylist Joseph Cassell. To add a touch of rock and roll, Swift paired the romper with a snakeskin Kate Spade backpack, which is also her current favorite emoji and pattern, and completed the look with platform Saint Laurent boots and black nail polish.
Swift was seen wearing a denim bustier top from Madewell with a matching pair of jorts, giving off the appearance of a two-piece romper. She paired the outfit with white sneakers and a Christian Louboutin spike backpack, which gave off the impression that she was headed to a summer day camp rather than a dive bar on the Lower East Side. The photo was taken on Wednesday.
In the picture, we can see that she wore an oversized plaid shirt to visit the studio. The shirt appeared to be faux-bleached and it’s unclear why she would choose that particular item of clothing given her wealth. Regardless, we can appreciate that she’s confident and comfortable in her chosen outfit.
